Mother said we would go to the lake we always pass today if it didn't snow. I wanted to go for the pretty scenery because the lake is frozen and it's sunny and it's just really pretty. So it didn't snow, at least not enough to cover the roads, and we went to the lake.

After missing the turn off we came around and back and made it eventually. We got out of the car and I started taking pictures. Then a flock of ducks came. It was amazing. The ducks weren't scared at all and just slid around and flopped onto the ice. One of them walked up to us - though he kept his distance - and was acting all huffy and dominant. I think he realized we weren't a threat and he went back to his flock, but he stared at me the whole time.

Then the ducks just all flew away. And I looked around 'cause I didn't make a noise, and my mum didn't either. But there was some bigass hawk looking bird flying over the lake. Soon as it disappeared the ducks came back. After a few minutes two bigass hawk looking birds came back over and all the ducks and seagulls took off. they landed again and I snapped a few more pictures then we had to leave.

So I'm about to upload a bunch of pictures. Just the decent ones. Of the pretty ducks and scenery and one of some dragon fruit. It's pink and green fruit ^-^
